Riverside Church is a Christian church in Morningside Heights, Upper Manhattan, New York City. It is at 120th Street and 490 Riverside Drive. Although interdenominational, it is also associated with the American Baptist Churches USA and the United Church of Christ. The Riverside Archives serves as the depository of Riverside’s rich documentary history, covering over 170 years of minutes and correspondence, membership records, photos, documents of social action, benevolence endeavors, audio tapes, and much more.

Description:   This is a theological lecture by Rev. Dr. Robert James McCracken, senior pastor of Riverside Church in New York from 1946 to 1967. The Scottish-born McCracken defined his approach as "life-situation" preaching. Rudolf Karl Bultmann (1884-1976) was a German theologian of Lutheran background, who was for three decades professor of New Testament studies at the University of Marburg.
