This site exists only to preserve historic religion audio and to make it available to interested listeners. Although this site includes audio of many faith groups, it began with Methodist / United Methodist audio, and historic audio of this denomination composes the majority of audio on the site. All audio included on SoundTheology becomes part of the collection to be preserved by the GCAH – the United Methodist General Commission on Archives and History.

Your audio must be supplied to us as digital files, preferably WAV files for best preservation. If interested, fill out the form below and we’ll be in touch to answer questions, to send information, or to discuss adding your audio programs to the collection. Audio needs to be original with your institution and owned by your institution. Copyrighted music cannot be included online, but can be included in the version sent on to GCAH for preservation.
